Eloqua popular segments - All Alumni
All degree/education information is contained in a Custom Object. If you want to pull your CSU's entire alumni pool, follow the steps below.

1) Create a new segment, choose the Filter Criteria option, and select Has Linked Contact in Custom Object (either by double-clicking or dragging/dropping onto the canvas).
2) Select the custom object you want to use by double-clicking on the criteria and choosing Degree from the dropdown menu.
3) Click the Add button, then double-click in the window to add a field condition. Choose CSU from the drop down menu, leave the second field as 'Exactly', and enter your CSU's two-character code in the last field (Engineering is used in this example).
4) To exclude current students, double-click to add another field condition. Choose 'Is current student' from the dropdown menu, leave the second field as 'Exactly', and enter 0 in the last field (this is a boolean field, with 0 meaning 'no', 1 meaning 'yes'). Click Finish.
5) You may want to exclude those that have attended, but did not receive degrees. To do this, add another field condition. Choose Grad Semester/Year from the drop down menu, select 'is Blank', and check the box that says 'not' (translated, this means that Grad Semester/Year must have a value). Click Finish.
6) Be sure to add one last field condition - 'Is Deleted is exactly 0' - so you can suppress any deleted records.
